What an adventure this has been already.  I believe that I am on the best end of things as everyone is reporting their deeds to me.  I get daily motivation from all the Granola Moms so that I can record our yearly efforts.  We are just shy of a month into our plan and we are very excited about all we have done to give back and to inspire others to give back.  Here is what we have done so far: 1 Paid... 

Welcome 2012! This year the Granola Moms and their families have resolved to be completely purposeful in random acts of kindness.  We will be accomplishing at least one random act of kindness and reporting them to you in effort to encourage you as well to pay it forward and be kind to others. “True kindness presupposes the faculty of imagining as one’s own the suffering and joys of others.” So... 

Granola Kids help the earth by picking up litter and give their tips to be a little more ”green.”  You don’t have to spend an hour picking up trash…just start with the little things. Granola Moms decided to explore some more natural products to color our hair with! It was quite an adventure! Christy found one that was completely natural using only henna for the coloring. It was a little more involved but worth trading convenience for health and safety.
